Location: Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam
Key Responsibilities:
Service (main priority)
- Reporting structure: report to QAQC & SERVICE Team leader
- Site Work Supervision: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of switchgear at client sites, ensuring site work complies with the company’s quality standards and client requirements. Handle troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues that arise during site activities.
- Quality Control & Assurance: Conduct inspections and audits on-site to verify the quality of installation and switchgear components. Ensure all switchgear equipment meets the required standards and customer specifications and assist in final handover inspections to ensure proper functioning and compliance with project specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed site reports, including test results, and corrective actions taken. Maintain records of site work as per ISO compliance, while coordinating with the QAQC department to ensure proper documentation flow for quality audits.
- Client Coordination: Liaise with clients to ensure all their quality concerns are addressed. Manage client testing, inspections, and approval processes during and after installation, and provide technical support to clients regarding switchgear systems and quality issues.
- Team Coordination & Supervision: Supervise QAQC service technicians and site teams to ensure proper adherence to quality protocols. Train technicians and junior engineers on testing procedures, inspection methods, and troubleshooting techniques while monitoring team performance and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead testing of switchgear systems. Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and operational and lead the final commissioning and sign-off of switchgear systems with the client.
- Continuous Improvement: Review quality issues and provide input for process improvements, particularly related to site activities, and suggest improvements in testing procedures and installation methods based on site feedback.
- Additional Responsibility: Supporting management initiative.
QAQC (support during site idle mood)
- Support QAQC engineer in maintaining and updating quality control documentation in line with ISO implementation.
- Support QAQC engineer in improvement on QAQC working document such, QAQC testing procedure, development new procedure for testing of a new product in line with the current technology
- To help QAQC team on factory routine job.
- Other duties and task given by management from time to time.

Requirements:
- Electrical engineering degree in electrical power or equivalent; technical competency in electrical background will be added as an advantage
- 1 year experience as a service engineer, electrical engineer, or similar role in the electrical industry
- Strong understanding on electrical switchboard components and relevant safety protocol will be added as an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skill with keen attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as a part of team in fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed
- Have a valid driving license
