At DCN 2026 – Data Centre Nexus, Powerwell’s Group Business Development Manager, Mun Wai Lee, took the stage during Session 2: “Developing Malaysia’s Data Centre Supply Chain & Industrial Ecosystem.”
The presentation highlighted how Malaysian engineering and manufacturing capabilities can play a greater role in supporting the rapid growth of mission-critical digital infrastructure — from local design and manufacturing to testing, commissioning and lifecycle support.
A key message shared was the importance of creating clearer qualification and market-access pathways for capable Malaysian suppliers, enabling local companies to qualify, prove and scale beyond Malaysia into ASEAN and global markets.
As Malaysia’s data centre ecosystem continues to grow, Powerwell remains committed to strengthening local capability, delivering to global standards, and contributing to a more resilient and competitive Malaysian supply chain.
